On Friday the 25th of November, Fidel Castro sadly passed away, after a lifetime of protecting his people from the evils of capitalism and free enterprise. His life has been one of selfless dedication to the principles of fairness, equality and justice, and millions of Cubans will be mourning his death and paying homage to his lifetime of public service.
After 47 years under Castro, Cuba now boasts one of the most advanced healthcare systems in the world, providing universal coverage at a fraction of the cost of Western free market healthcare systems. Fidel Castro proved to the world that socialism and communism can and do work when applied correctly and managed by the right leaders. Despite what advocates of capitalist oppression tell you, Cuba actually has one of the highest standards of living in the world, with state of the art infrastructure, a top quality education system, electricity, indoor plumbing, and a welfare system that provides everyone with their basic needs, while making sure that no individual amasses excessive wealth that could be used for the betterment of society.
Under Castro’s leadership, Cuba defied numerous attempts by the US to enslave its people under capitalism, and aided fellow revolutionaries around the world such as Stalin, Mao and Robert Mugabe in liberating the world’s population from the perils of Western imperialism. Through his transformation and enrichment of Cuba, Castro demonstrated what is possible if we all band together against the free market, and resist the toxic individualism and materialism of the West.
Disgustingly, Donald Trump was delighted by the demise of this revolutionary hero, once again proving that he is nothing more than a white supremacist thug!

We all need to honor Fidel Castro’s legacy by continuing the work that he started, and help make the world a fairer, more diverse and more caring place, which values the collective over the individual, people’s needs over wants, and substance over materialism.
