As reported in breaking news earlier today, the West is suffering from rapid demographic decline. The simple fact is that we need more immigrants in order to sustain our way of life. Since we are not the only country suffering from a low birth rate, this places us in direct competition with countries such as Sweden, Britain and Germany who are all competing to drink from the Holy Grail of immigration.
It is clear that we need to build a competitive advantage in order that the most fertile and largest refugee families come to America. One barrier to entry that immigrants find off-putting is the lack of Sharia law. Instead, people from the Islamic heartlands of the Middle East, Africa and Asia feel unwelcome when they find themselves subjected to a law and constitution that were developed when America was an exclusively Christian nation. They feel rightly triggered, for example, when a thief gets away with a short jail sentence or even a caution, rather than having his/her/its hand cut off.
Many untruths are written about what Sharia Law actually is, largely from ignorance but also from simple bigotry and intolerance of other cultures. In simple terms, as a legal system, Sharia law is exceptionally broad. While other legal codes regulate public behavior, Sharia law regulates public behavior, private behavior and even private beliefs.
In the west, there are many supporters of Sharia law ranging from Prince Charles to CNN liberal commentator Sally Kohn. Kohn has defended “progressive Muslims” from extremists such as Trump and noted that “… there is a difference between personal, spiritual Sharia and the political incorporation of Sharia into law. And within both, there are progressive interpretations as well as more fundamentalist conservative interpretations. So the word Sharia doesn’t mean one thing.”
This should all come as great news for the LGBTQ+ community who had previously been worried that Sharia Law might somehow discriminate against them. The reality is that Islam is far more welcoming of alternative lifestyles than the repressive Christianity. Even so-called pedophiles should welcome Sharia Law given that the Prophet Mohammed was an active supporter of marrying pre-pubescent girls.
It is worth bearing in mind that the US is still a young democracy with laws that have only been in place for a few hundred years or so. It is therefore understandable that the American legal system is still ironing out its flaws. Sharia Law on the other hand is 1400 years old and is therefore far better. The time for Sharia Law is now.
