A while back, it came to bare that world-renowned physicist Stephen Hawking is an avid supporter of compassionate socialist polices and is deeply worried about the rise of Trump. As if progressivism needed another high profile advocate to add to its ranks of celebrities, Hollywood actors, academics and business titans, we now have arguably the smartest man in the world on our side.
Stephen Hawking referred to the era of Trump and the Brexit as the “most dangerous moment in humanity” due to the risk that Trump will start World War III and fail to stop the climate from changing by eliminating fossil fuels. He has also remarked that we should fear capitalism, and that as technology improves we should instead focus on providing everyone with a living wage:
“If machines produce everything we need, the outcome will depend on how things are distributed … Everyone can enjoy a life of luxurious leisure if the machine-produced wealth is shared, or most people can end up miserably poor if the machine-owners successfully lobby against wealth redistribution.”
In Stephen Hawking’s Venus Project style model, the problem of white privilege would soon be solved, as people of color with high birth rates are awarded free resources, allowing them to continue to out-breed and out-vote whites by ever increasing orders of magnitude.
Conservatives and libertarians are fond of mocking the left and calling us ignorant and unintelligent, but if this is truly the case, then why are the smartest people in the world consistently advocating for our ideology? It’s well know that academics are overwhelmingly on the left, and that conservative views are shunned at universities. If socialism is so trivially flawed, then why do the most formidable intellectuals and social scholars so consistently believe in it?
Those on the right will claim that academics draw their salaries from the government, and engineers by contrast tend to be on the right. But the fact is, those who leave academia for the private sector simply aren’t smart enough to pursue professorships and tenure, and are driven by greed rather than fidelity to the truth.
So the question is, if the smartest people in the world are progressives, then what qualifies you to disagree with them? How could YOU possibly be intelligent enough to see what they can’t see? The answer of course is that you cannot possibly be smarter than the advocates of progressivism, and mostly likely you lack the intelligence to see why they are right and you are wrong. So it’s time for the uneducated white working class males who voted for Trump to shut up and accept the conclusions of those far more intelligent than they are. I have a masters degree in Critical Race Theory from Portland Community College, and I will NOT be lectured by rednecks without even a college degree to their name!
