A couple of years ago, I decided to take the plunge and go fully raw vegan and gluten-free. My friends and family thought I was mad, giving up meat, dairy, eggs, honey and so many foods that they couldn’t imagine living without. But the truth is, all these years later, and I’m happier than ever – bursting with energy and living life to its fullest! I never feel deprived or starved, as I have an endless array of absolutely scrumptious foods and recipes to choose from, from spicy kelp noodles, to salted raw broccoli sticks, to my absolute favorite – raw vegan sushi!
So what was the reason for my switch? Well there are many – so many that I can barely fit them into this article, but I’ll do my best.
The first reason is obvious – it’s kind to animals. Fake animal rights activists say that “humanely” raised meat, where the animals get to roam free on open pastures, is somehow “better” than factory farmed meat. But they are wrong. We have no right to own or kill another animal – case closed. There are no two ways about it. Sure, animals in nature kill each other, but humans have power, and therefore greater responsibility. Just like white people have white privilege and therefore infinitely more moral responsibility than people of color, humans have human privilege, and are infinitely more responsible for their actions than animals. Animals have no moral responsibility, but they do however have rights. They get the good aspects of moral agency, but not the bad aspects! Pretty cool huh? 🙂
The second reason is that it’s good for your health. Since going raw vegan, my testosterone levels and sperm count have dropped dramatically, making me far less aggressive and prone to promiscuity. My attraction to womyn and my masculinity both declined to such a level over the last few years that I recently decided to identify as non-binary, and lead a sex-free life. Sex drives a lot of greed in the world and leads to competition and overpopulation of white people, and I came to believe that it’s best for both me and the planet that I give up sex altogether. I’m much happier this way – I feel calm and at one with the earth without the burden of the hedonistic desires that plague other people. I feel almost emotionless, and get my kicks from activism instead of pursuing women and money.
Lastly, raw veganism is good for the environment. Farming produces huge amounts of greenhouse gasses in the form of CO2 from the transport of meat and farming materials, to methane from cows. It also takes a huge amount of energy to produce meat, and a lot less to produce plants, making plants a far more sustainable food. We need to end large-scale farming and start growing our own vegetable gardens, like I do. This is far more efficient and sustainable than concentrating the production of food in the hands of professional farmers. Subsistence farming is also a great way for the proletariat to take back control of the means of production. I spend most of my day tending to my vegan garden, and the little spare time I have left is spent on activism and my job as an accredited journalist. If everyone lived like this, the world would be a beautiful place.
If you haven’t yet experienced the joy of raw veganism for yourself, then make it your priority. The feeling is simply amazing! I feel calm and docile, and I don’t get aggressive or angry anymore, unless it’s at conservatives. I hardly have any desire for the opposite sex, and I no longer have any protective instinct – I feel gay and happy like a butterfly fluttering in the wind! Even my dog is a raw vegan now, and is absolutely loving it! 😛 I feel at one with Gaia, and at peace with the Earth. Nothing anyone says can hurt me anymore – I’m almost untouchable. It’s a beautiful, clean and green life, and anyone who wants to help themselves, animals and the environment, shouldn’t hesitate to embark on this spiritual journey, and become one of us! 🙂
