After decades of oppressive rule by a tyrannical, antisemitic government, which spends more money on terrorism than it does on basic services, the Iranian people have finally decided that enough is enough. This revolution, just like the accredited revolutions in Iraq, Syria and Libya, happened spontaneously at an opportune time, and has been vocally supported by all accredited media outlets and accredited Western governments, including Trump himself, who we normally disagree with, but who at lest understands that Israel is our number one concern as Americans, and that no amount of blood or money we spill for its advocates is in vein. Even President Netanyahu has thrown his weight behind the Iranian revolution and said that he is thrilled at the prospect of a new, friendly Iranian government, that doesn’t want to wipe Israel off the map like the current one does (even though they technically didn’t say that, but humor me here):
However, as usual, the boards of ultra-right wing conspiracy theorists on sites like Zerohedge are purporting that this revolution is a CIA-sponsored coup inspired by Israeli expansionists and other special interest groups, as if that’s even a bad thing. In any case, these conspiracy theorists have been thoroughly discredited by the opinions and statements of important political figures, as well as fact-checks by politifact and snopes. Unaccredited media platforms such as RT have even pointed to fake protests by alleged pro-government protesters in a desperate attempt to delegitmize these organic, all be they convenient, protests. We know the pro-government protests don’t actually exist, because they weren’t reported at all by CNN, the BBC or any accredited media outlet.
This revolution should be of major concern to all Americans just like all of the other selected Middle Eastern affairs that we hear about in the accredited media, all be they miles away from us in foreign lands. This revolution is in our “strategic national interests”, so although our airports and infrastructure may be falling apart, our borders may be wide open, and our manufacturing sector may be decimated, its important for us to spend a ton of time worrying about foreign policy issues in far away lands, and spend a ton of money and blood on it too. Some people might be suspicious that focusing on such matters might be benefiting special interest groups and foreign groups with their own ambitions, but this is just the effect of insidious fake news and a host of alternative media kooks telling us that we are somehow qualified to have opinions on such matters.
So I’m sorry to disappoint the foaming-at-the-mouth reactionaries who oppose this revolution, but fact-checking is where the buck stops, and you just got fact-checked by the Accredited Times. Support the Iranian revolution folks – trust me, it’s accredited.
