With misguided and extremely avaricious alt right weirdos continuing to hoard ever increasing amounts of the vital industrial metal silver, an artificial deficit of supply risks developing. Silver is mined in plentiful amounts both as a primary product and as a byproduct of other metal mining. Because of this plentiful supply silver should be a cheap component of the many products it is used in. But due to the selfish hoarding by an idiotic underclass of soft-minded fools, who have been tricked by sophisticated Russian propaganda to act against the national interest, this otherwise cheap and plentiful resource is now expensive and even risks a future supply shortage.
Silver’s physical properties make it an irreplaceable component of many modern devices. Silver is the most conductive of all the elements both thermally and electrically, this makes it an essential input for our weapons program. With the ever growing Russian threat an artificial supply disruption must not be allowed to develop, due to a fifth column’s selfish hording. Silver is also needed for Obama’s plan for a more sustainable energy grid. Silver is a main input in photovoltaic solar panels (although there has been some recent breakthroughs minimizing its importance, the best and longest lasting cells still require large amounts of silver).
The good news is that despite the artificially high price and developing tightness in supply, there is a huge stockpile of silver held in covetous private hands. These hoarders have been manipulated by Russian propaganda into believing the silly notion that one day silver may be monetized – when in fact quite the opposite is happening, we are sensibly moving to a cashless society. So there is a very large surplus available for the government to seize.
There has been some talk in progressive circles about whether these self-centered hoarders should be compensated for their silver when it is needed for the common good. The main argument is whether to compensate them at the historic price of $4.50 per ounce or to seize their rapacious stashes without compensation as just punishment for their antisocial and greedy behavior. Here at the Accredited Times we share the latter sentiment.
