In her new book, “Stronger Together”, Hillary Clinton obliterates the many lies and smear attempts directed at her campaign, and paints a bold and ambitious vision for America, with comprehensive solutions to the range of economic, social and foreign policy challenges that face our nation. For those on the sidelines, Hillary dispells the myth that she is unfit for office, and demonstrates her ability to lead this country to a brighter, fairer and more prosperous future.
The book starts with Hillary and Tim Kaine describing how their childhoods and life experiences led them to careers in public service, and what motivates them to make America a more equal and inclusive nation. Hillary tells the heart warming story of how she spent her early career raising funds for disabled children who were denied the chance to go to school, which had a profound effect on her desire to make America a more compassionate society. Tim Kaine writes about his volunteer work in Honduras as a young man, and the innate sense of duty he acquired from his Christian faith. Both stories provide very convincing cases for why these two candidates are moral and upstanding citizens, with the will and determination to achieve great things for America.
Hillary then lays out her comprehensive economic plan for America, describing an ambitious 100-day jobs plan, which aims to make the boldest investment in “good-paying” jobs since World War II. The plan will bolster our infrastructure and manufacturing sector, while making America the green energy capital of the world. She then appeals to young voters by describing her plan to make college free for low-income Americans, making higher education truly affordable for all. Finally, she describes how to make sure Wall Street and big corporations pay their fair share of taxes, and how to stop the super-rich from exploiting ordinary Americans.
On foreign policy, Hillary makes it clear that we need to be firm but smart when combating our adversaries such as Russia and Assad. She emphasizes that although diplomacy is always the first course of action, a strong leader must be willing to use military force if and when it becomes necessary. She also states her unequivocal support for our greatest ally, Israel, and her commitment to defending them against any adversary who threatens their sovereignty.
Hillary then finishes by summarizing her positions on social issues, which range from appointing smart and forward-thinking Supreme Court Justices, to promoting the rights of women and minorities. She also lays out her plan for immigration reform, which includes amnesty for hardworking undocumented immigrants, and a plan for keeping immigrant families together and avoiding the horror of mass deportations. She also makes a very strong moral case for ending the gun violence epidemic in America, with sensible gun laws that take dangerous weapons out of the hands of criminals and terrorists.
In summary, Stronger Together addresses all of the major concerns of American voters with simple, yet bold, common-sense solutions. Her plan promises to make America a safer, fairer and more prosperous country that allows everyone to thrive, not just those at the top. I strongly urge any voters still on the sidelines to purchase a copy of her book, and read her plan for themselves, as I’m convinced that after reading it, you will have no doubt that Hillary is the right candidate to lead our country to greatness.
